Class Description 

During our time together this year students will focus on strengthening their reading, writing, listening, speaking, and viewing skills through meaningful interdisciplinary tasks. Students will also continue to develop an appreciation for literature by reading and interacting with classic and contemporary selections. As the students move through the year, emphasis will be placed on developing literal and abstract critical thinking skills while also maturing their use of language. Lincoln Middle School ELA students will be utilizing a new curriculum this year called my perspectives. Over the course of this curriculum students will be engaged in the learning process through:
