Welcome Lincoln Families to the 2020/2021 School year and Athletic year. I know we all have a lot of questions regarding the upcoming Sports year. I do know if High School has sports, Middle schools will have sports. Bad news is there will be No 6th Grade Metro Volleyball this year due to Cov19. 6th grade sports do not fall under the NMAA. 7th - 12th Grades only. Metro Volleyball is a huge impact on our volleyball programs and will be sad not to have it this year.
7th graders that are moving into 8th grade this year will be awarded to use their physicals from this previous school year. You will need a new History form to update health and injuries from the past. 6th graders coming into 7th grade will need new physicals for the upcoming year.  The reason is not a part of the NMAA in 6th grade. As soon as I have more information on the upcoming school year I will have it out to everyone. All Athletes will have a clean academic start to the school year. Grades will be counted after the first quarter. No F's or below a 2.0 GPA or will be ineligible for the second quarter. Stay safe! Go Leopards!

No 8th Grade Football, No Wrestling and No Track and Field for the 2021 Rest of Year Schedule.
We will Offer Volleyball, Basketball and Baseball and Softball.

1. If we are to return to Extra Curricular Activities we should develop a Code of Conduct for Covid-19.  Examples: 1) Follow all NMAA Protocol and Governors Public Health orders.  2) No Congregating on campus, etc...,
2.  Masks- 100% across the board, in order to participate, masks must be worn, Doctors notes will not be accepted.  If parents do not feel comfortable with this State Guideline, they may make the choice of not participating in this sy.
3.  Pods-  School in an approved Hybrid/In Person model, on February 22, 2021 may move out of the 4:1 pods (But must maintain Social Distancing ie: water break, resting, etc..,  Spring and winter sports must still remain in off-season mode of the 7.5 hour rule, pod sizes are eliminated.  Saturdays may be used for off season.
Remote learning/unapproved Hybrid Model must maintain the 4:1 Pod size and maintain the 7.5 hour rule.  Saturday may be used during the off season.
