Kindness Club Announcements

Welcome Back and September has been FUN!
I have to say our Kindness Club ROCKS! We are in full swing for the new school year planning new events for each month. This month our Kindness Club members have been completing a mission statement, goals, working on "branding" posters for the group, and helping to create Harvest Dance promotional posters.  Take a look at the News Letter for September for details.

The Challenge for the Quarter
Students to meet the goals of the mission statement, group members are asked to participate in one area per quarter.  This Quarter, group members are challenged to find time and do kind things for themselves that they would not normally or have a difficult time engaging in.  So an example was to actually set time aside for a nap, to read a book, to play with a sibling, take a bike ride etc.  Students are practicing ways of giving a kindness to themselves so that when they support others they are stronger on the inside.
