Ms. Garretson stands in front of cookies prepped for sale at a fundraiser

Kudos to the students and staff at Lincoln Middle school. Recently, the school hosted a Cookies for Kids' Cancer fundraiser. Lincoln Middle School raised more than $1,100 which will go to children's cancer research to help scientists discover less toxic treatments for kids with the help of an organization called "Cookies for Kids' Cancer." This organization has raised over $15 million since 2008 and has now partnered with the OXO Company who is matching, dollar for dollar, all donations. So that means the Lincoln Middle School donation is actually more than $2,200!

Special thanks to Ms. Rachel Garretson, consumer science and student council advisor for assisting with cookie creation and sales on this great project. Way to go Leopards, we're so proud of you.
